Thattu Kada April 2023

On behalf of the Zcharia Jose Memorial Foundation, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you in KC for braving the cold weather and joining us for our food festival akaThattu Kada today. Your enthusiastic participation and support made the event a grand success.

Despite the chilly weather, your warm smiles and enthusiastic energy helped create a festive atmosphere that made the event memorable. Your active participation in the food festival, from trying out different kerala snacks/food to interacting with the volunteers and other guests, contributed to the success of the event.

Your generosity and support mean a lot to us, and we are grateful for your willingness to contribute to our cause. Your participation has helped us raise about significant funds to support American Cancer Society, and we appreciate your kind gesture in making a significant impact on the lives of those we serve.

We are honored to have such a wonderful community of supporters who share our vision and mission to support Hope Lodge. We hope to continue our association with you in future events and work together to make a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

Once again, thank you for joining us and making our food festival aka Thattu Kada a grand success. We are looking forward to your participation in the Volleyball Tournament, which is scheduled for May 13th, 2023 at the Shawnee Mission Beach Volleyball courts.

Children’s Mercy Lunch

Children’s Mercy was a huge part of Teresa’s treatment. The hospital took care of us and gave us much more than we could ask for. To give back to the community that gave us so much, we decided to offer breakfast to the Ronald McDonald House inside Children’s Mercy Hospital. Ronald McDonald House is a place for parents of sick children to stay close to their kids by offering them housing close to the hospital, resources to help them through and most importantly, it comes at no cost to the parents. It is all free! It is a great service to support. We arrived there a little early and set up breakfast. It was an overwhelmingly satisfying experience. Often times you get to meet parents as they come to eat breakfast, hear their stories and understand what they are going through.
